1. How do I search for a specific item?

Select your desired item type and then refine your search by price. Catersell’s search engine will bring back adverts relating to your search options. If you would like to search all items select the all option from the drop down menu

2. Why can I see a ‘There were no items which matched your search’ message?

No items have matched your search criteria. Try expanding your search by being less specific.

3. Why isn’t there a make or model drop down menu?

As catering vehicles could be anything from an Ex Ambulance to a Tuk-Tuk we decided to leave this off so you can search for a wide range of catering vehicles by type rather than make/model.

4. How do I add an item?

Click on the ‘Select Ad Type’ button on the home page and follow the instructions or click on the ‘Selling’ tab anywhere within the site. This will lead you to a page where you need to pick from a Silver Listing (Free) or a Gold Listing (£14.99) the difference in advert types is stated on the Selling page. Then simply complete the form and follow the prompts on screen.

5. How do I list a wanted item?

Click on the ‘Items Wanted’ link and then select ‘Add Your Item’ this will take you to a listing page. Complete all of the fields and press the ‘Save Details’ button

5. What format should I enter the price in?

Enter the price in whole Pounds with no commas or spaces e.g 3250. We are only able to list items in Pounds Sterling, so if you are in the Republic of Ireland please convert Euros into Pounds

6. I am in the Republic of Irelands, how do I list my item?

Add your item as detailed above but instead of inserting a postcode select the box which states Republic of Ireland

7. How to I amend my item listing?

Simply email info@catersell.co.uk quoting your reference number and we will make any amendments to your advert these include text and price changes.

8. How do I remove my listing?

Send an email to info@catersell.co.uk quoting your reference number and your item will be removed from the site.

9. Why can’t I add a photo?

If you have a Silver listing then you aren’t able to list any pictures. If you want to add photos then use the Gold listing option (£14.99) and add up to 3 photos when listing your item.

10. I have a Gold Listing and want to add photos

Just upload the photos when adding your listing to the site. If you don’t have the photos at the time then email them separately to info@catersell.co.uk together with your reference number and we will upload them for you.

11. How do I upgrade my advert?

Simply email us info@catersell.co.uk quoting your reference number and we will contact you to arrange payment and update your advert. Alternativley you can call us on 0800 112 4864 - Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

12. I’ve lost my reference number what do I do?

If you have lost your reference number and want to amend or remove your advert then please contact us via email info@catersell.co.uk or call 0800 112 4864, we will then locate your item and remind you of the reference number.
